Plan IV | Corona Virus Update
During this time of uncertainty we understand there is a lot of concern about if or how to pay your employees and how or if to continue to offer health insurance .
Although we can not make those tough decisions for you we can help you to make an informed decision. Because of the Family First Corona Virus Response Act we emailed about yesterday, insurance companies are allowing employees to stay on health coverage, even with a laid off status. So, you don't have to worry about removing any of them from your plan.
With that said, to keep you plan active you do need to continue to pay your premiums. As of today the standard 30 day grace period remains in effect. If this grace period changes we will be sure to let you know as soon as we hear.
If you are concerned about being able to make your premium payments for your health plans please let us know. If it is necessary to take any or all employees of the group health coverage we can get them onto an individual plan. It is important for them to contact us ASAP so no lapse of coverage occurs.
Again, we understand this is a very challenging time for many of our employers and are here to support you in any way that we can. Since we are no longer working from the office please reach out to your agent via their email or cell phones for the quickest response time. Someone will be heading into the office a few times a week to check voicemails when possible. But to ensure your message is answered quickly the best way to reach us is to go through email or cell phones. Below is the list of numbers and email addresses for you.
